Mar 2022 — Present

Working in the R&D department developing clean-tech solutions for energy and utility companies. Products range from distributed energy systems to energy forecasting applications and meter reading solutions.
Had a key role in developing the first new product the company released in 5 years using a new stack (React, AWS) and upskilled two teams.
The product is now used by clients in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Architected the data orchestration pipeline for the most data-intensive workflow, handling millions of meter readings across the globe.

Jan 2021 — Mar 2022

Mental fitness platform for companies and education institutions with proven science to prevent business risks associated with mental health decline.
Joined as the second in-house software engineer working on all company products: the React Native mobile application (serving tens of thousands of users) and the Next.js client dashboard (handling hundreds of thousands of data points).
Developed the recommendation engine and the logic to handle A/B testing for every content of the mobile application.
Assisted with onboarding and coaching new team members as the team more than doubled.

Nov 2016 — Dec 2020

Developed web and mobile applications for the UK and Australian healthcare sector.
Joined as the first engineer of a new team hired to rewrite all legacy applications with modern technologies. Built all products from scratch using Angular, Node, MongoDB, Docker and Kubernetes.
Implemented several customer-facing products including a WebRTC conference call platform and a NativeScript mobile application serving millions of patients in Australia.
Over 40% of surgeries in the UK in 2026 still use the kiosk application developed (with no updates since).
Managed the dev team and worked on the product roadmap following the departure of the CTO.

Jul 2017 — Sep 2017

The most active equity crowdfunding platform in the UK and Europe.
Worked on improving the scalability of the monolith Ruby on Rails application.
Involved in the redesign of the front-end using newer and more flexible technologies.
Transitioned the test and build environments from local machines to a cloud-based system in AWS.

Aug 2014 — Jul 2016

Assisted Hotels and Accommodations during the registration process and performed risk checks to ensure security and quality standards.
Helped establish a system that completely excluded security risks caused by fraudulent properties.
Risk mitigation through detection of fraudulent activity and security checks for hotels and accommodations registering worldwide.
Verified that new property web pages had accurate information and developed the quality and quantity of the company's portfolio.
Delivered training to partners on various topics including Extranet interface, rates and prices, and availability system.
Contributed to bug-reporting, operational and procedural improvements, and SEO enhancements.

Jan 2014 — Aug 2014

Research Project: The Mutual Shaping of the Technological and the Social: Mobile Apps in the Self-Management of Type I and II Diabetes.
Focused on the use of mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms for diabetes management in healthcare delivery programs.
Identified best practices through analysis of market leader apps code lines.
Implemented different APIs allowing communication between the app and external devices.
Collected and analyzed data/information to identify potential opportunities and issues.
Updated information and formatted research documents.
